Victoria “The Queen” Groce first made Jeopardy! headlines in 2005 when she ended super-champion David Madden's 19-game winning streak. This year, she returns to the Alex Trebek Stage to defend her title as the reigning Jeopardy! Masters champion. In addition to her 2024 Masters victory, she also won the first-ever Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament last year. Victoria's all-time cash winnings (including tournaments) of $622,801 put her in 10th place among the Jeopardy! greats on the Leaderboard of Legends.
Yogesh Raut returns to Jeopardy! Masters as the second-place finisher in last year's tournament. In Yogesh's first appearance on Jeopardy! in Season 39, his streak lasted three games. In 2024, he beat Ben Chan and Troy Meyer for the Tournament of Champions title. Yogesh has won a total of $596,403 (including tournaments) on Jeopardy! to date.
As he makes his long-awaited return to the Alex Trebek Stage, Brad Rutter holds the record for all-time winnings (including tournaments) on Jeopardy! with $4,938,436. Brad won the 2001 Tournament of Champions, the 2002 Million Dollar Masters Tournament, the 2005 Ultimate Tournament of Champions and the 2014 Battle of the Decades. Additionally, he served as the team captain of the 2019 Jeopardy! All-Star Games winning team. He was one of two human contestants to compete on Jeopardy!: The IBM Challenge against Watson the supercomputer. Brad's most recent appearance on the show was in 2020's “Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time” event. Brad is the only Masters contestant this season to have faced Ken Jennings and won.
In Matt Amodio's initial appearance on Jeopardy!, he won 38 consecutive games, good for the third-longest winning streak of all time. Matt is returning to the stage on the back of his 2025 Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament win in March. He previously competed in both the 2023 and 2024 Jeopardy! Masters tournaments. Matt also holds the spots for the third highest regular-season winnings and fourth all-time winnings ($1,818,601 including tournaments).
Roger Craig first appeared on Jeopardy! in Season 27, when he won six consecutive games; he also won the 2011 Tournament of Champions. He recently took home second place in the 2025 Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament, where he punched his ticket to this year's Masters event. He held the record for highest single-game winnings for nearly a decade, until James Holzhauer set a new record in 2019.
Juveria Zaheer first captivated viewers with her Jeopardy! skills as a fan favorite in Season 39. She went on to claim one of the winning spots in the 2023 Second Chance competition and the 2024 Champions Wildcard event. Juveria finished third in the 2025 Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament earlier this season.
Season 40 three-game champ Neilesh Vinjamuri has made a name for himself with an aggressive Daily Double wagering style that has been compared to James Holzhauer's. He won the 2025 Tournament of Champions and the $250,000 grand prize earlier this year. Neilesh is the youngest ToC winner since Brad Rutter took home the prize in 2001.
Nine-game Season 40 champion Isaac Hirsch isn't the only Hirsch to appear on Jeopardy!: His father, Steven Hirsch, was also a contestant in 1985. Isaac finished in 2nd place in the 2025 Tournament of Champions and won the Jeopardy! Style Award at the 3rd Annual Jeopardy! Honors ceremony. His total all-time cash winnings (including tournaments) are $290,390.
Super-champion Adriana Harmeyer amazed Jeopardy! fans with a 15-game winning streak in Season 40. Five of these victories were runaways. She holds the 11th-longest winning streak in Jeopardy! history. Adriana also placed third in the 2025 Tournament of Champions. Adriana has won a total of $424,600 (including tournaments) on Jeopardy! to date.
